It Just Makes Sense

Water-wise:  Replacing a lawn with drought tolerant native plants can save you $100 or more each year on your water bill.

Chemically Independent:  Most native plants thrive without any fertilizer amendments to the soil.  These plants have developed a sustainable relationship with native insects and other pests so the rarely require any chemical pesticides.

Wildlife Friendly:  Hummingbirds and butterflies will visit your flowers for the nectar.  Other birds and small mammals will find the food they love and the shelter they need in your garden.

A Treat for the Senses:  You will enjoy beautiful flowers and foliage which continue to intrigue as the season change.  There will be sounds of rustling grasses or soughing pines.  And don’t neglect to touch and smell.  You will know that you can only be in California.

A Sense of Place:  Come home to your particular place on earth as you live among plants that have grown here for generations.
